This autobiographical work provides, through the relationship between urban space and body, a question about the concepts of comfort and contemporary subjugation. The octagonal urban grid of the Eixample govern a large part of the city. The relationship between the body and this shape generates everyday movements and routes.
On one hand, it shows the comfort everyday space that exemplifies a modern welfare system. On the other hand, the body limited to the islands of the Eixample produces uncomfortable positions. This positions exemplify the conception of discomfort and rejection of this spectacular welfare condition. All this generates a reflection about the lack of freedom in the context of welfare.
